Victoria Powder Coating Ltd was started in 1996 by Rob Chalmers. Years later Victoria Powder Coating Ltd has become the place to go for powder coating on Vancouver Island. Now located in Langford, we're more able to serve the entire Greater Victoria region. Our new location offers us more space to accept large items and orders.

Sandblasting ensures the complete removal of rust, previous paint coatings, and mill scale that would otherwise prevent a durable bond to the coated surface. Our room measures 20 feet long by 9 feet wide by 8 feet high with the ability to extend it to 24 feet long.

Items to be coated are either degreased in a degreasing fluid or treated with phosphate to promote adhesion depending on the type of material being coated.
- What is Powder Coating
Powder coating is a different method of painting. It starts out as a liquid but is formulated and processed differently. It is mixed, extruded and baked, then ground into a powder with the consistency of talcum powder. Heat is the catalyst used to set and cure the powder.
